Congratulations, I am so happy for you and your gal!!HEY GUYS!!!! I found her some friends!!!! today we found a farm not too far from us and he had 9 week old chickens the drive was almost an hour but so worh it the farm was beautiful and the chicks were all beautiful and clean, I just got them home put the crate with the chicks down and she went crazy talking and trying to get inside she's sooo happy!!!! we brought 4 home![]()
Go slow with the introduction just in case there is any aggressions between any of them. Let your girl see them from the cage for a week and when you do mix them, provide hidey places, levels to escape and put out more water and feed stations. Fabulous news!!

Thank you!! yes this is the first time I will be introducing new chickens and have no knowledge but they are in the cage inside her coop she was super excited kept walking around the cage, they are super skittish not like my cuddlebug but I did get her as a chick, hope eventually they can be calm around me, the farmer said to just let them together but I really dont want to do that so they will be in the cage for a while, also mine are trained on the grandpas feeders so I'm hoping my girl can train them any more suggestions appreciated Thanks!!Congratulations, I am so happy for you and your gal!!Go slow with the introduction just in case there is any aggressions between any of them. If your girl was pacing around the cage, she's anxious to establish herself as leader and there could be lots if arguing or fighting if you mix them right now. Let them out separately without her for a week or so. And let her see them from the other side of the cage or a fence for the week. After a while she will be less hyped to order them around. When you do mix them, she will probably chase and maybe bite at them, however once she makes it clear she is in charge, the squabbling will lessen. It takes a few weeks to get peace in the flock after mixing. Just watch carefully for a week after you mix them together.Thank you!! yes this is the first time I will be introducing new chickens and have no knowledge but they are in the cage inside her coop she was super excited kept walking around the cage, they are super skittish not like my cuddlebug but I did get her as a chick, hope eventually they can be calm around me, the farmer said to just let them together but I really dont want to do that so they will be in the cage for a while, also mine are trained on the grandpas feeders so I'm hoping my girl can train them any more suggestions appreciated Thanks!!

This will work just fine! Just seeing each other day in and day out is what calms their aggressions. Keep them this way for a week or so. And keep us posted on mixing day!!As of right now I dont have a seperate area to let them out they are in a very large kennel inside her run she can clearly see them I hope that is good to get them acquainted.
