Chickens finally arrived yesterday, sort of

. Ordered Barred Rocks but they didn't come in. Couldn't wait so I took 3 black sex links and 2 red sex links.

I think you'll like the BS - mine are egg-laying machines.
Since they started last August they have gone on to produce HUGE light brown eggs consistently, even laying right through Winter.
One is very friendly, the other is coming around, so I can't say they have the best personality for pets.
That award goes to my goofy-looking Houdan
