New From Jersey... Yes chickens in New Jersey :-)

Hello I am Rodney, I have a small Flock of 7 (1- White Leghorn, 4-Barred Rocks, 1-Brahma/Americanas mix, 1 Rhode Island Red/Brahma mix, mixes as per farmer I got them from) I will soon have 13 ( I have 6 Chicks coming week of 3/25, 3-White Leghorns, 3- Americanas)Chickens and 5 Ducks ( 3-Cayuga [2 drakes 1 hen], 2-Pekin [1 D- 1H])

I get 6 chicken eggs a day average and 5 out of 7 days I get double Duck eggs.. SO I guess I am doing things pretty good.. BUT here to learn even better

Nice coops and birds. Your egg count is pretty good. Some breeds probably just wouldn't lay every day because they're not bred for it.
