We are a family of 4 with a shipment of our first chicks on the way this week. They are Buff Orpingtons. We are very excited and looking forward to our new venture into the chicken world. We currently have one rooster and one hen. We will be keeping the new chicks separate until they are old enough to be blended in with our 2 older members. Nervous about that part...
We believe the Rooster that we have is a sex link... and the hen is an easter egg layer but not sure of the breed. All the chicks on the way are Buff Orpingtons.

I work full-time in the city but look forward to getting home every night to our life in the country.
