Hey everyone! I've been visiting this site on and off now for about 7 years, figured I'd join. Enjoying suburban life in Uxbridge Mass with 16 chickens. Got my first start back in 2011, and had a very satisfying time build my first chicken coop housing about 5-6 chickens at various different times, and also learned a lot about which predators to worry about and avoid during those years. I have since, built a new chicken coop, which now houses 16 chickens, Wyandottes, Copper Marans, Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers. We have 3 children, who gain lots of enjoyment from them, as well as a poodle, rabbit and cat...they don't gain as much enjoyment from them like the kids, though. My hobbies are all computer related, so this is the one thing I have that gets us out in the yard together on a regular basis.

Glad you joined the flock! BYC is a very helpful and informative about poultry! Half of the chickens in my flock are marans, my favorite breed! BTW you have a wonderful looking coop! Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!
