Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and I live in Nebraska, in North Platte! I adopted a Buff Orpington Rooster to save it from being chopped for dinner, but unfortunately an animal killed him

I am very sad. I had him in a chainlink kennel that is wrapped with poultry wire and covered top and bottom, but I think a raccoon somehow reached through and got him. I loved Petey, he was such a good bird, he's sit on my lap and just recently learned to crow. He was just starting to get his spurs... it's a sad sad day
