(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? My wife has had chickens before when she was a child, but I am new to raising chickens. We got twelve Rhode Island Red pullet chicks last week on Tuesday. We also picked up 4 chicks that are a little older at the chicken swap at Country Brook Kennels in Rochester, this past Saturday. (2) How many chickens do you have right now? We have 16 with one more coming the beginning of June (3) What breeds do you have? Rhode Island Reds, an Easter Egger coming soon, and 2 Americaunsas, we also have 2 which we are not sure about, most likely as cross of something. (4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? I heard people talking about it at the chicken swap. (5) What are some of your other hobbies? I love spending time with my family, cub scouts, playing golf (which seems to never happen), watching the Red Sox, and I am a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan!
