New from NJ

Thank you! So far, everyone is getting along. Kind if wish I had taken some vacation days to stay home with them. Lol.
I know just what you mean! You don't want to leave your "babies." :hit
I have 2 one month old Plymouth Barred Rocks in the basement and worry whether they'll both be hens because I'm so attached to both. Then I have new chicks coming in the mail (first time I've mail ordered) which were supposed to be delivered yesterday! Now I'm worrying about them, too! :fl My bf said all new mothers are excited and nervous. :lau

G'Day from down under Beekissedfarm :frowWelcome and Congratulations! :clap

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

Please do check out the Topic of the Week discussions Pork Pie mentioned. I have found these to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining.

Your babies are adorable! If you would like to share more Pictures and Stories of them, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.

Lol. I know!!! Needless to say, I've been a bit late to work each morning. :D
Same, same here, except that pertains to and explains my tardy school days of old. No matter how early I'd get up, something would still go awry and I'd end up loitering in the coop way too late. :lau
Anyway, hiya and :welcome!
So glad you joined us! :D
