hello everyone just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Steve, I'm married and have two kids. More recently we decided to get chickens, we have a Black Copper Maran, Blue Copper Maran, black Ameraucana and a Blue Ameraucana. All are hens and about 3 months old. I'm new to the chicken world and look forward to learning from everyone. Hopefully I posted this in the right section!

Hello and welcome. I'm a newbie too. Getting eggs now and enjoying them. We got them as chicks and I touched them everyday. Although they are very nervous animals by birth, they sometimes jump on my back and lap. I now have an official chicken long sweater with my chicken shoes. Lol. Their feet are so soft in bottom but their nails are sharp as needles. I don't use gloves but I make sure I have glasses with me cause I swear they want to peck my face just to check it out. After all, chickens peck like fish swim. Lol.

Hello Steve and welcome to our community.
