I hope you get to see it someday soon! we have the highest tides in the world- they truly are a thing of beauty and awe. Standing on the ocean floor knowing in 8 hours you'd be over 30 feet underwater is something I will never grow old of experiencing.

(More of) California is on my bucket list, but I don't own my own airplane so it makes it more challenging lol
I've been to Monterey Bay for a conference in 2015. Our flight out was cancelled due to fog, so we did a crazy road trip to San Francisco with 2 complete strangers to catch a flight out of there. Saw some of the country side that way!
