Hey,

Greetings to one and all.

This is my second generation of chickens, first generation were 10 X year old layers, 50 X black sex link day old's and 8 X guineas. End of season..... 5 X now 2 year old layers, 20 X laying hens and 17 roosters in the freezer from the day old's, 4 X guineas. (and one less dog). All totally free range and cooped at night.

This generation will be 50 more day old sex links (man can them girls lay), looks like 20 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes from McMurray, and hopefully 48 or so BLRW hatching eggs from a small outfit outside of Atlanta GA. Whose bloodlines are different from McMurray's.

I am 2 hrs from the city and deliver prob. 15 or so doz eggs every 3 weeks to a regular clientelle for $5.doz. So the sex links are to boost that end as well as being a beautiful, well adjusted variety and the BLRW's are to sell as hatching eggs and day old's.

Hello! Were you on Albertachickensetc? Or am I going completely nuts?

We had a "summer farm," in Sask a couple years ago, about 15 minutes from Nipawin, and an hour or so from PA.
