We got some about 3 years ago

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 3 right now. Used to have 7, but we have lost 4 over the past few months but not sure why

(3) What breeds do you have?
Cinnamon queens

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I have a small farm where I sell vegetables.

I(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I work as a Grounds/Landscape lead man forSMSD. I have a wife, stepdaughter, dog, and a cat.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? Typed in info about local chickens. I am new to this and I want to learn more about raising chickens.

I also want to find the best outlets for finding chicks and pulleys.

My condolences for your lost chickens. I hope your other girls hold on strong. Were you thinking of sticking with Cinnamon Queens? These folks here will definitely give you some advice/ideas on some good places to replenish your flock. I also think it would be wise, as @triciayoung to rule out anything that might affect your future flock, if you are able.

Welcome to BackYard Chickens!

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow You'll find a lot of information and helpful articles in the Learning Center that should help.

If I were looking for chicks locally, I'd look in my local/state poultry groups on Facebook. Some hatcheries sell sexed chicks too. Just go with well-known ones though, like McMurray, Cackle, etc.

Before bringing in new birds though, the ladies above me are right in that you should find out what may be going on there with them.
