I've been raising chickens since November of 2012 when my friend decided to reduce her flock and give me a good start with 10 buff orpingtons. That's where my addiction began! I have loved raising my chickens, and the fresh eggs are so worth it.
We've started a small homestead in the last year, adding ducks and goats, but the chickens are still my favorite.
