  I couldn't see your hens very well in the last coop photo.  What kind of chickens do you have?

I've had all of those breeds at one time or another and your got some really good layers. Golden Sex Links and Leghorns (especially the Whites) are egg laying machines. I currently have some Buff Orpingtons and Araucanas (actually ours are Easter Eggers as true Araucanas are tailless and lay only blue eggs) in my flock. Our Buff Orpingtons are beautiful and very friendly and gentle, and our Easter Eggers are my granddaughter's (pictured in my avatar) favorites. She loves the different colored eggs that they lay. Welcome mrmojo, my brother and sister-in-law live in Spokane...South Hill, and have had a flock for many years. Spokane is such a beautiful place. My grandmother was raised there as well.
