(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes I am! We got our first chickens on April 15! One month in and so far so good
No casualties yet!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
30
(3) What breeds do you have?
Well, 14 are "mutts" - one of them appears to be mainly barred rock, though. 5 for sure barred rocks and 16 Araucanas. Lots of color
. This is going by what we have been told by who we bought them from, because I am by far no chicken breed much less chicken anything expert (which is why I'm here!)

Skiing, horses, hockey, reading, knitting, gardening

I just graduated from nursing school on Friday. I was a pre-med major for 3 years. I have a super duper boyfriend of nearly 5 years. We have 1 cat who is super fun, a pet steer who is ~10 years old, a 31yo quarter horse, 11 yo paint horse, and 4 sheep.
