Hello, my name is Alex and I live in, well, Washington. In the past few years I have devoted a good bit of time finding ways to free myself from large grocery stores and such. What started as a small hobbyist garden has grown steadily in a few years time. Anyways, chickens have been on my mind in recent days, and living in town I was curious of my options. Searching for information led me to this forum and I am anticipating learning from those in the know. I prefer to spend my time outside, working my garden, or in the cabinet shop. Hope to learn lots and help others with the information that I have to offer.

Welcome to BYC!!! from NC

You sound a lot like me , I watch a documentary on High Fructose and corn and chickens and decided I wanted to work towards better eating and gardening.

You will learn a lot from the wonderful helpful people on this site.
