New from Washington!

Hi everyone! I've often checked out this site for answers so I thought it might be time to just go ahead and join. My husband, 2 kids, and I moved to our dream home this year on 6 acres, and we got right to work with chickens and ducks. We currently have 8 laying hens (barred rocks), 9 "little girls" as my daughter calls them (buff orpingtons, red sex links, black sex links, ameraucana, black australorps) and an ameraucana cockerel. We also have 5 Pekin ducks, a drake and 4 ladies. We are pretty much just learning as we go and we're loving it!!

Thanks to you all for all the wonderful tips I have picked up just from glancing at this site over the months.
