New from west kentucky!

Hi-
I just registered on this site. We’ve had chickens for about 18 months or so. Currently we have 10 chickens: Barred Rocks, Speckled Sussex, Wyandottes, an EE and 1 little bantam polish roosters with little rooster syndrome. He thinks he’s king of his ladies and struts around them all day.
I have posted a question in another thread, but should I ask it here? I haven’t had anyone respond on the other post.

You are welcome to post your questions here. I've never had a rooster but, it seems like problems with them are very common. Sometimes older hens teach them a lesson and they get wisdom in a hurry.

Hi! It's nice to meet you! I went and looked at your other post. I can't be sure from the picture, but it does look like it could be scaly leg mites. Covering the feet with Vaseline for several days has worked for me in the past. You can also do a search for scaly leg mites on here, and find lots of other treatments. Good luck!
