Hello, I'm completely new to chickens and I want to get started with some Wyandotts this spring. I heard they were docile and friendly, hoping for some backyard pets and a few eggs. Any advice as to when I should get them, what I need to start out, would be most welcome.

Thanks!

! Great to have you here! I like Wyandottes as well - have a SL and GL - both are super. As you are just starting out I would advise spending some reading the in the Learning Center - see below. Best of luck to you!!
