Hello everyone! My husband and I are just starting down the road to a more sustainable/ self-sufficant life style. So far we have chickens and a small garden. Next up are goats and some ducks. We've got big ideas/ plans but little money, so we are learning how to do it ourselves with what we've got. I'm excited to learn from you all here! I think that a backyard homestead is a great place to raise and educate our three children, and am looking forward to all the ups and downs.
