New fuzzy butts coming!!

I just spent over 4 phone calls trying to find out if I can pick this up an the airport and it doesnt seem like it will be able to happen. Oh USPS how you upset me. They said more then likely it will get in PA on Monday morning very early if it ships Sat. but if I track it and it has landed on sunday I can go get it but they seem to think it will not be likely. I am 15 mins from the airport and so is our post office so I will call the hatchery tomorrow and ask if they can possible give me a tracking number. The supervisor at my local post office was understanding to the situation and gave me a phone number so if by any chance the tracking number sais it is in there facility I can call and beg them to let me be able to pick them up. at this point I have done all I can do.
I have to thank all of you for your support and I am sorry for all the losses

If your able to get a tracking number will you let me know please? I didn't think you could get one! I so, I will call the hatchery and do the same!! The things we have to go through to make sure our pets arrive safe...geesh!!
I too would like to thank all of you for the support! Without all of you I don't know what I would do! No one knows better about chicken stuff is all of the great people on the BYC!!

Which hatchery did you use again? McMurray gave a tracking number, but USPS is stinking awful with tracking numbers. They don't update often, but it can help once the package is at the distribution point.

Btw, don't remember if I updated, but we're at six girls left. They look pretty strong. One had some poo stuck to her butt feathers, but I got it off while it was still fresh. They're all making 'real' chicken poop now, so that's a good sign that their digestive systems are working.

How are your little guys doing this evening?

At least they are strong and gonna pull through!!!

I have one left she is eating drinking and pooping. I hope she will make it. my total loss was 25. She just cheeps away and when I hold her she stops. The cat is next to the brooder and no she can not get to the chick . But just meows when the chick is cheeping alot. I guess the cat is keeping the chick copany. She seems to be very alert.

Do you have a stuffed animal in with her? That seems to help when they are alone.

Yes my daughter gave me a little pink bunny with floppy ears, she takes little rests and goes to cuddle with it.

Poor little fuzzy butt!! Hope the bunny helps...
Not sure how mine are doing. Been at the office all day. Out of the 6 I have, I think only 4 are gonna make it. 2 of them are still really weak and not moving around like the others. We'll see when I get home.
