GRRRR...so no one knows anything??? That's not right. There is always someone that deals with "livestock" and or other things of that nature. Did you try calling the AP PO and ask to speak to someone in the freight/ shipping receiving area? Airports deal with chicks coming in all the time!!

I did call the airport directly too. I was on the phone for almost 3 hours trying to explain the situation, they said it is not how they do things that I can not pick them up at the airport.

Thank you all for all this information. My fuzzy butts are due to arrive from McMurray anytime from this Sunday- Tues. I called them and asked for my phone numbers to be placed on the box and now just called the local PO to call me asap when the chicks arrive, even on a Sunday. I will let you know when they arrive and how they all did. Thanks again, Laura

Got a surprise from the hubby today. I had given him that wishlist of chicks from a local hatchery. He had jury duty today and got out early, so he stopped by the feed store to see when they get their chicks in. They had a full stock of chicks the same age as ours. He seemed a little scared to order more because of how it turned out. Either way, I'm happy.

I ended up picking out six Barred Rock pullets. They are cute, but so loud! I'll have to get some pictures tonight after I give them a chance to settle in.

OMG these last couple of days are going to draaaaaaagggggg. I want my babies! They ship Saturday, might not get them till Monday or Tuesday.
