I figured I would finally join the site. I keep finding myself coming here for information as I learn about raising my chickens. I started back in March with 6 chicks. I started with 2 Rhode Island Red, 2 Gold Sex Link, and 2 Brown Leghorn (all hens). I have since added a white laced red cornish bantam rooster and I have 4 Silver Duckwing Old English Game bantams that are just over a month old. What can I say? I'm hooked! In the beginning I never thought I would want more than the 6 I started with and definitely didn't think I would like having a rooster but... you see how that went!
