(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I’ve had a few chickens as a kid but mostly waterfowl, first ducks “11 years ago and counting” then geese “9 years and counting.”

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

No chickens, 4 ducks, 7 geese.

(3) What breeds do you have?

French Toulouse, Classic Roman, American Buff, Welsh Harlequin, and Peking.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

EVERYTHING

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

To many to count.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

Other animals include 3 dogs and a cat.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

I’ve known about this place for years but never joined because I don’t know why, I’m here now looking for health information for my feather babies.
