Spent the better part of this Saturday, reading & reading & reading, must say
I'm impressed with how much I don't know about raising my small flock!
Anyway, we live down South in a suburb of New Orleans, La called Metairie.
Our flock consists of Doris, a barred rock about 4 who gives us a nice egg most days. Then there is Thelma & Louise , a couple of Silver Laced Wyandotte's about 4 months old. Still at the pullet stage but beautiful young
chicks.
