New guy

Hello all
I’m a new member although I’ve done a lot of reading on the forum. I’ve had chickens off and on for many years since I was a child. Believe it or not, they are now a part of my job. I’m the caretaker for a large lakefront home, twelve acres and 2000 feet of shoreline. We have 10 layers and 1 rooster just as a hobby. Currently getting 2-6 eggs a day. They’ve only been laying about a month. I look forward to talking chickens with you all.

It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

Also, make sure your coop(s) have a proper amount of VENTILATION. (https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...-there-and-cut-more-holes-in-your-coop.47774/) Your chickens will absolutely thank you for it!
