New guy

Hey everyone! I have had chickens since 2008...briefly got out of them for a couple years after 2013 but back now and incubating for the first time. I have 7 RIR, 4 White Leghorns, 2 Buff Brahmas, 1 Cornish Cross, and 1 Lavender Orp. I love watching them interact and keep my property (relatively) bug free. Looking forward to getting some Golden Comets out of my hens soon. I love being outdoors so any hobby I have involves that...golf, hunting, etc. My wife and I live in Elon, NC with our 2 dogs and 4 cats...our kids (4) are out of the house. i work for a large Industrial conglomerate and have for the past 20 years. I've lurked for a good while and so much good information...it was time to join.
