Hello everyone. I need some advise on how to put the finishing touches on my coop. All I need is a roosting bar and my nesting boxes. The way I built my coop has made this difficult to do. here's some pictures of my coop. I want to keep my nesting boxes up top since the back top flips up for easy access to the eggs. however I want to keep the roosting bar higher than the nesting boxes but in the area of the coop that is mainly enclosed. any suggestio

I'm sorry I don't understand . Is your coop open in front? I don't notice any enclosed area for a roost. I know you don't want them roosting over the nest boxes unless you have trays under the roost so they can't poo on the nest box.

Hello and welcome to BYC!

I like your set up but I'm hoping this will get you bumped back to the top the list. There are some gorgeous coops/pens here, but ours was built on what we had and open air. Meanwhile, take a look at the Coops tab at the top of the page and see if that will give you some ideas. Good luck and stay in touch!
