Either one for us, But we prefer pawtuckaway, it's only an hour and a half, compared to an hour and 45 minutes. So Pawtuckaway is our first vote.

They can. They used to sell them in pet stores years ago but your to young to remember. It's illegal to have one now without a permit from Fish and Game

Showing my age here, lol, but when i was about 5, a neighbor lady had a pet skunk. It was "de-scented", but still had a sort of musky smell to it. It made quite an impression on me that she had it for a pet!!

I have not seen any so far this year, but we sometimes see skunks rooting for grubs in our veggie garden. We have a yard-light on the telephone pole, it's one of the yellow ones, not white, so it's not real bright. But we could see the skunk's bushy tail as it walked through the paths in the garden. The kids saw it first and asked what cat had such a bushy tail! I looked and saw it was a skunk. Our cats were curious, and they went and touched noses with it. it never sprayed. i've heard that skunks don't feel threatened by cats. Now we have a dog, so that would be another story if a skunk comes around! LOL

On my way home from KY we stop in this HUGE flea market in Ohio...they sell all kinds of exotic pets there and I almost came home with a skunk last year, but then remembered the 2 we had as kids, and remembered how nasty they got at sexual maturity...I'll stick to the rooster chasing me! LOL

Remember I did Animal Policing for 20 years and was a licenced Wild life Rehabilitator. I didn't have a choice in picking them up. It was part of the job. Only 13 times out of hundreds of skunks. I thought I did pretty good. The only thing good about it was I was able to get out of work early. The Police Chief always kicked me out of the Police Dept. Said I was stinking the place up

I wish they can descent a skunk. they are so cute..

they can and used to do it when they sold them in pet shops years ago. they still smell a little musky like a ferret though.

Ok no matter where it is held its going to be a drive for someone.
the trick is to make the travel equal in distance for everyone and I dont believe thats possible.
that said.
more than distance driving, come now some of us drive hours for a swap. it should be taken into concideration what the park has to offer, whats allowed , whats not, BBQ pits or grills allowed. Potty rooms ,entry costs, which animals on leash are allowed, sheer beauty of the place, etc etc.
think about it if distance traveled were the immediate need and issue we are not going to get a lot accomplished.
