pawtuckaway it seems is a better drive for most

is there another place anyone would like to suggest>?>
 
Location: Off NH Route 156, Nottingham

Activities: Camping, swimming, hiking, fishing, boating, biking, picnicking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing

Amenities: Campground, camp store, ball field, playground, bathhouse, shelters, picnic tables, canoe & row boat rentals, boat launch, showers

Fees:
Day Use: The day-use area of the park is open weekends only starting Memorial Day weekend, then full-time, 9:00am - 7:00pm, from June 20 through October 13, 2008, weather permitting.

Lifeguards are on duty daily from June 21 through September 1.

Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free.

having said that, is a saturday or a sunday better for you all?

We can't do Aug 15th, not sure about the 16th. I have to discuss with hubby about the drive. i will guess that he doesn't mind driving that far, but the kids don't like long drives (are we there yet, are we there yet?) and that drives me batty! LOL

Tell you what, you guys go ahead and make all your plans, don't worry about us. Even if you were 30 minutes away, we might not be able to go---we seem to have so much going on these days, just can't do everything! If we make it to the pony show at the Cheshire Fair grounds, we'll say hello to you there. Otherwise, we'll probably see you at swaps in September.
