They are soooooo cute Shay!!! Good luck with them! I have my very first attempt at hatching...2 eggs have tiny cracks in the shell and they are due today to start hatching...how ;ong should I wait for them to progress??? They do not seem to be wiggleing around today???

Nooooo don not touch, keep away from the bator. Heeee
this is what i tell my self, I does not work.

They will hatch dont worry, it could up to 24 hour for them to come out.

By late tonight if you see no air hole for them to get air, just pip where the crack is just a tiny tiny bit so they can breath until they hatch.

It works for me. and the ones sometime that i dont help end up suffacateing in the egg. becouse it could not pip through the shell.

a small piece of the shell has come off, but I see the membrane is still closed op. So by midnite, should I try and poke the membrane??? is that what ya mean?

No dont touch the membrain. I mean the outer white area.

If you can see the membrain then that means that it can breath.

You see it has the membrain which is the layer with all the veins, dont touch that.
then the outer layer which is that white layer not sure what it is called (STILL), lol
That is the layer that they break to breath,
that is the layer that holds the air socket while they are developing.

If you want put it near your ear and tap the egg to see if you can hear it moveing.

i do.

I would just hate to have come this far with them and then kill them!
