My first little Runner duck is doing well but s/he is lonely....I had to move it to the brooder because it kept standing up and whaccking its head on the metal heat coil....Luckily 2 of its siblings have finally pipped hopefully s/he will have company tomorrow.

I have WHite Call Ducks and Ducklings. Calls are my favorite. From what I hear they can be hard to hatch. I let my female do all the work, she's a great mom and hasn't lost any babies yet. I may have some ducklings for sale. I just have to find out how many my cousin wants. I have 6 I think he only wants two or three

We have a young pair of calls that my youngest son purchased from James at a Merrimack swap. He loves them dearly and they are very cute little suckers. They LOVE to eat feeder goldfish too.

Well, here is the story. Bought 6 serama eggs and 6 bantam sumatra eggs. the breeder gave 3 extra sumatra eggs. so out of 9 sumatras, 8 were duds and one was moving around up till yesterday. (day 20), the serama eggs started to hatch right on time at day 19 and so far i have 3 of them alive. (2 more hatched tonight, with a little help from me cause they were so tired. they seem to be doing well, flippin all over the bator at forst, but now sleeping and drying. The lonly guy in the brooder cage is peeping his little head off, but when i pick him up he goes right to sleep! I had to put the remaining 3 eggs in a small box in the bator cause the hatched seramas kept knocking them all around like bowling balls! should i have done that till I move them to the brooder cage when they are completely dry in the morning??? I think that they are not alive, even thought they were rocking around yesterday.
