De-Skunking recipe:

when i was dog grooming we came across this all the time with dogs being sprayed by skunks. Not sure if any one else here has heard of it but it works. mix Massengill Douche POWDER with a little water and put it on. It supposidly neutralizes whatever the musk is that the skunk spays out. It owrked though. But it has to be the powder, not the liquid. I guess they sell it at CVS.

I will try it in a spray bottle, really shouldnt get rabbits soaked to the skin though, it stresses them too much and it also chills them into getting sick. cant have them sick to show them.

you can also try white vinagar but if you don't want to get them wet- baking soda alone. it doesn't work as well as the above recipe but they don't get wet.

Unkle Henrys not CL. she is as apposed to them as I am.
I believe he is gelded. I will re~ask her to be sure.
He does need working, he is young, was neglected until Kim got her hands on him.

some one didnt learn after the first 10 times

I wont relocate a skunk . wont make my problem someone elses, just eliminate and call it good.

I've relocated skunks plenty of times in a hav-a-hart and never been sprayed.You need to put a board under the trap so the little stinker can't bury himself and the trap underground.I don't use a blanket over the top either.I just walk up to the trap from the end and pick it up and walk away.It does get a little hairy releasing the stinker.
