AMEN! I have a woman on my case for animal abuse/over breeding, because i'm trying to get rid of my two mice. Oh well, I've had it with them. Though i did get a nice roo from a family, and gave them info about our group.(so maybe a little good can come from cl)

If you ignore them they get really mad, best way to torque some one off is to refuse to give credit to there exsistance.

that's what I am doing,
some people are just not worth acknowledging their exsistance.

It sux cause no one ever edits their posts or deletes them when stuff sell, so there are posts on there for months. I think they should expire posts every 10 days and if you still have things relist them. But I thought he was going to be decent and at least answer my phone call I gave him last night telling him I was here and when could I meet him to pick the chix up.

I am not sure which swap I am bringing them to but they are going one way or the other,
I have 3 Austrolorp hens that need to go away or go to freezer camp.

My poor old english hen just hatched another chick and yet again they were able to steal the chick and lkill it. they were playing catch me its mine when I went out there, NONE of them have the poor little thing now. I buried it.

This is the third time they have snagged her baby through the wire brood cage.( keep in mind OEGB chicks are tiny like button quail).
needless to say i am very ynhappy with these hens actions, they will also bust eggs to get at the yolk.
now they get everything including table munchies like everyone else, b ut they have to go after the eggs and chicks.
Now the EE broody they do not even attempt to steal eggs or chicks from, heck I dont even like sticking my fingers in there.( she is a waffle about her eggs)
anyone interested in egg sucking hens either for freezer or free range perditor bait?
 
Oh my i so want to go to this one. But 3 hours away dang i would need to borrow like what oh my god $60.00 for gas and hope to make it back to pay it back, it sounds like a fun one my nephews would love to see the carver.

The ads do expire after 30 days, but that is a long time, in some ways. If the item sells before 30 days, it seems like the seller should remove it, but many don't.
We use CL a little bit. We sold an antique truck through CL, and the buyer was tickled pink with it, he came all the way from Rhode Island for it!! We found a Ranger from a local person who listed on CL. Hubby has gotten vehicle parts from CL people. I found a great deal on OSB sheathing for my coop and tool shed, brand new 1/2 and 3/4 sheets for a fraction of the cost of new full sheets. We didn't have much luck when we were looking for an orange cat, but we did find a mixed kitten with siamese coloring---the person we got him from was wonderful to deal with, so there are some nice people using CL.
But there are also some real jerks too, which is too bad. The faceless aspect of the internet allows people to get away with it too.
