My Seramas are DEAD....I have another duck hatched I have 3 pipped and a Polish/Frizzle mix that I nearly killed also pipped.

oh i am sorry they did not make it. I was really hopeing they would.
 
I was hoping they would make it I wanted to see lil Serama babies....Darleen had a few of her Seramas that made it so I will get to see Serama babies soon.
 
I endd up with 3 seramas out of 6, they say that is really good witht he seramas. they are all eating and drinking and run right over to my hand when I cant resist picking them up and kissing them! 8 of the sumatra eggs were duds, and one develooped but did not make it thru the to the air sack, the same with the other 3 seramas. the sad thing is they were all moving around the day before...I am happy with my 3 babis. so for 32.00 i got 3 chicks vrses the 35.00 a chick i paid for the ones i got in KY !! Need my head examined!

Congrats to all the hatchings going on, Sjay, i hope you get a bling jr. and Sheree, keep that maglight away from the incubator! LOL...call me if you want, i am home1
 
The other two didn't make it. They were shrink wrapped. I tried to help but I was too late I think. I felt so bad that I didn't help sooner but I didn't know. I am happy with the other little ones running around in the 3rd brooder in the bathroom.

Wow, I'm glad that we don't have ducks anymore, then! I put in a little garden pond, and stocked it with big feeder goldfish from Petco (big as in 2-3 inches)... they look very similar to the koi they also had there minus the little moustache and only cost me 29 cents each!

My little tadpoles all turned into frogs too... and they love to sit on the mini lilypads.

If the ducks found my little pond, bye bye little fishies & froggies (and plants!)... and hello poopie water!

I've decided to place my trio of Pekin Ducks. They are the Parents to all the eggs everyone has been hatching. I want them to go to a nice home where they will be pets. They free range during the day and go in the barn at night. Let me know if anyone is interested or know of anyone that is. They are sweet Ducks and I don't want them ending up in the wrong hands
