well I emailed the lady I got the second batch of sumatra eggs for and told her the story. I also mentioned that I wrote her regarding the first batch and that they did not develope at all also ad never heard from her. I asked if she may ship me even just 6 of her serama as replacements for all the sumatras that did not end up hatching (total of 18) including the 3 free extras each batch. I will wait to hear from her, but doubt I will as she has not answered me about the first batch. Will let everyone know the outcome.
 
Sorry, Darbella, to hear of so many pulled from the lot. My last batch of eggs arrived today to put in the bator. Now the seller said he'd add some extra due to shipping delay and he sent 2 dozen extra of other breeds! Wow- I had to get the extra bator with no turner up and going. The first bator has 20ish Seramas that are developing well and my new eggs are 12 Orloff, 12 Crele Polish and 12 Samon Faverolles. Lost one of my button babies that hatched this am. My sad accident *sniff*. The baby hatched while Animal Planet was here. If you watch "Untamed and Uncut" next month you may catch a glimpse of some of my chickens

All the symptoms were pointing to a stroke, and with my past history, that is what they thought, but the dr. today thinks it is a pinched vein or artery when I am sleeping cutting off blood supplies to my arm. I just gave a Millie Roo away. Now that my chicks are older I can see I already have 3 or 4 more Roosters then I need. As long as they don't fight I will keep the ones I have
 
I've been thinking of letting my Peafowl free range but am undecided because I don't want any of them to take off. I raised all of them from babies last year except another yearling that I bought a few Months ago. I need some advise. Should I let them free range? do you think they will hang around? should I clip their wings? I would love to see them free but would hate to loose one or all of my babies. They are all Males

The d'uccle roos seem to live peacefully with each other from the ones I have i can see. Not sure about others experinces.
 
I got an email from the sumatra lady and she asked if i would be willing topay the shipping ? But she did not say for what or how many so i emailed and am waiting for her response.
