my bantam faverolle hen is down again, remember a while back we thought she hurt her leg and she was limping laying down etc, well then she was fine then she wasnt then she was now she isnt again, she is laying down not roosting still eating and drinking, weird. she is one of a breeding trio and everyone with her is fine, its just her, what the heck??? and its a good month between episodes. any other thoughts?
 
ok, is it a skunk that eats the head of a chicken and leaves the body? or something else?? i am having a week

My father just came and told me he found a pile of white feathers out in the woods while he was out feeding the deer. I went out to the barn to see if anyone was missing. It was my beautiful white bearded Silkie, she's missing

Two days ago my white SHowgirl Pullet came up missing

She has a brother, they were inseparable. I bought them from Janet several Months ago. I see it's happening to everyone. And it's seems to be peoples favorites that are being killed. What would go over 6 foot deer fencing during the day, carry a chicken back over the fence about 300 feet off and leave everything except feathers? What ever it is knows where theirs a free meal and is going to come back for more. I've never had this problem in 6 years. I'm not going to be able to let them free range anymore without being outside with them. I'm going to shoot the little *!*!*!* that took my babies.

it is one thing to find one dead knowing it is from respitory cold ect, but it is another thing knowing that something is ohhhh my god, i dont even want to say it. I belive thats must hurt worse. He was but now he's hanging out with Lilac, Fancy and Big Bird
