Shay, I am sooo sorry to hear about your losses! I can't even imagine what you must be going through! I don't have much useful to give except my prayers

I wish I could give more. I do have some wire stacking cages that you could borrow for a while. I had them for when I was raising rabbits but right now they are just sitting empty, they do need a good cleaning. Also a medium sized wire dog crate you could have. It's a bit rusty but structurally sound and the birds don't seem to care. Let me know if they would help at all.

This has just been a terrible year for everyone that I know. I can't wait until this year is over and I am praying that next year will be a much better one!

I think of you often. It was so great to see you at the Cheshire Fair Grounds pony show and chicken swap back in August! I was kind of hoping you might make Milford this past Sunday (i looked for you there), but i know it probably isn't the easiest to get out and about yet.

It isn't easy getting around right now because I physically can't drive, nor do I even think I could mentally. The accident took a toll on me and really set me back in my progress on driving anxiety. I don't think it's likely I will be on the road this year, and even after that it's going to be a long time before I will feel comfortable getting behind the wheel, if I even have a license (but that's a whole other thing).

So anyways, for the time being I am at the mercy of my husbands whims as to whether or not he wants to spend a morning at a market fair. I'll try and convince him for next month in Milford since I do have some glass that I could try to sell and my one Wyandotte cross hen (pullet? I don't even remember how old she is!) that needs a home. I'll actually be on my feet around then but I'd imagine on a limited basis. Would probably still bring the chair in case I got too tired. With any luck I will see you guys then.

" So then i said, well, actually, we've started calling them "market fairs", and i explained how there were all kinds of poultry there, plus bunnies, a kitten, plants, crafts, food, etc, etc. I said we were selling the gourds that grew up by themselves on our compost heap. She thought it was SO COOL! The name "market fair" made a lot more sense to her than a "chicken swap"
