I was telling someone just yesterday that we went to a "chicken swap" and they said, "a WHAT?

" So then i said, well, actually, we've started calling them "market fairs", and i explained how there were all kinds of poultry there, plus bunnies, a kitten, plants, crafts, food, etc, etc. I said we were selling the gourds that grew up by themselves on our compost heap. She thought it was SO COOL! The name "market fair" made a lot more sense to her than a "chicken swap"

Continuing to spread the word for those of you that don't read the much ado about New England thread. I'm involved with a low cost feline spay neuter clinic. It is located in the NH town where NH, MA, and VT all meet. Spays are $70 and Neuters are $45, no income requirements. They are doing shots too and some other stuff until spay/neuter appointments start filling up. Check out the website http://www.spayneuternow.com We are still working on the website. It's essentially finished but it needs some pictures. the C.O.P.S. clinic will very thankfully take donations (not tax deductible but for a good cause. NH has weird non-profit laws for animal organizations so being a 501c would prevent the clinic from offering spay and neuter to the public) to help it stay open. We do have a flyer made up if anyone wants to volunteer to post them around their towns. E-mail [email protected] to get the flyer so you can print it out and hang it.

Anyone looking for a nice dog? Two Pure Boarder Collies and two Pure Boxers. All are nice dogs, spayed , neutered and up to date on vaccines. Free to loving homes. PM me if your interested and want more info
