Very girly girls. Some NH girls have big combs. Had one whose comb laid sideways on her head like a beret, LOL.

Chris: all the NHR's have yellow legs. The only pullet I have that isn't quite what she's supposed to be is one of my buff orpingtons - instead of white, one has yellow legs and I've been told it's either not "pure" orpington or it's a plymouth rock.

Sorry to have implied you didn't know that about the yellow legs - I know you know what you're talking about and yes, your right the 1st pic does look like green legs - I only meant all of my NHR's had yellow legs. Thanks again - Gail

Sorry, a little off topic but, is there a difference between a New Hampshire Red and a Rhode Island Red?
