Unfortunately 2 of our NHRs cockerels had to go back to the farm today but they like their enclosure with that bigger rooster btw could someone tell what breed the big rooster is?

Hello!
I am new to having chickens. I just moved to a farm and naturally had to get some chicks! I picked up 3 Golden Laced Wyandottes from a feed store that are 2.5 wks old, 3 Buff Orpingtons from a local hardware store that are 1.5 weeks old, and 3 each from that same hardware store that were hatched Wednesday of Buff Brahmas, Light Brahmas, and New Hampshire reds. Below are pics of each of the NHR. The wings seem to have different patterns and I was just wondering if that is normal? I also think it is funny that the NHR are the only young ones that will peck right back at the Wyandottes despite being 1/3 the size! (All 15 chicks are in a 3ft x 5ft brooder with two feeders and two waterers - there are two light as well, but since this in NC and they are in a sunroom attached to my house they seem to spend more time roaming around than under the lights)

Does anybody know how old an NHR is when full-grown? I have a cockerel needs culling.

I have a six week old that has suddenly started showing pink in the face! I'd be really worried except my sussex did the same and she's for sure a she!

I'm trying to find a good NH thread and I realize your post is pretty old. Did you ever find out? He looks like a silver birchen something.
