New Hampshire reds about 12 weeks

That’s the ones that’s mean as a whip. Even pecking me when I’m in there. Just need to figure out what to do about the aggression.

The one closest is my ISA brown who happened to be in there. It’s the one with larger comb closer to the camera. Definitely don’t want jump to any conclusions to soon but just getting opinions to prep myself. Those are both are new Hampshire reds. The only 2 I have. Thanks for any and all opinions.

It is nice that that ISA Brown was right there It is a nice size comparison because the New Hampshire reds are actually a week younger than the rest I got.

I'm not great at this, but I think they're both pullets. My reasoning being that I would expect more color in the comb and wattles at their age. I also don't see any threadlike feathers on either bird in the hackle or saddle areas. They may just be bossy girls instead of boys.

I figured the attitude was part of the New Hampshire red. I was just trying to get some opinions to know what to expect. Thank you. I don’t know if I sent the link right or you found it

I found it by clicking on your name, then clicking on where it says Topics Started. That's the only other way I know how to do it without a link, but I think you posted your link right.

I’m hoping thier Pullets Then I’ve just got to figure out the knocks the attitude out of them. My Rhode Island Reds are sassy and bossy but I’ve never had to Jail them at that age. My reds will pick on the small ones if I want them together but once other ones are grown they assert their authority a little at first and then leave them be. But these two are just plain mean. It’s not even like if another one was near them they would actually go running after them to jump on them bite. Hearing that poor EE scream broke my heart. Thank goodness no blood drawn
