New Hatch! On Valentine's Day! When should they poop & pee?

Hi Everyone! I guess I'm just being a paranoid Mama Hen here!!!(LOL) But my babies hatched yesterday and so far only one has pooped & possibly peed? Is this normal? They are drinking fine and interested in eating...I've noticed a couple actually eating and not just pecking...but so far only one small poo to speak of? When do they start? Their butts are fine and they are acting fine...just like sleepy babies. Thanks, Keri

Keri,
Usually, the first couple days they sleep alot. They have the yolk that they absorbed, for nourishment. They won't eat much at all until the yolk is used up. Chickens don't pee, but instead, the urates are with the poo. You should be seeing poo very soon.

My first one was born Friday night and he started pooping after he was about 24 hours old...The next two babies took almost 48 hours to poop....guess it's normal...they are eating and drinking fine...mine poop most of the time right after they get a drink...lol..Good luck! Congrats on your hatch!
