New hatched baby!

Hi all!
This is the third baby to hatch under this broody momma. The other two I know who the mom is because of the egg color. This one I think is one of our Barred Rocks eggs, but not 100%. Dad is a Blue Cuckoo Marans. This baby has feathered feet! The other two do not. And this one has a white spot on his head! So exciting! We also have a female Blue Cuckoo Marans, but I don’t think it’s her egg. Hers are usually a bit darker and a lot of the time speckled.
Thoughts?
This is so fun figuring out “who’s your momma?”
This is our first time letting a broody sit on eggs and she’s doing a wonderful job!

It will be interesting to see as they feather out! The other two mom is a EE!

Sadly mom didn’t accept it. She wouldn’t let it nestle with her and then she ended up pecking it to death. Made me so sad! The other two chicks hatched a week before this one. Wondered if that was why.

Darn! That sucks. Maybe next time take care of it for the momma, if she won't accept it.

Definitely will! This was the first time we let a broody sit on eggs. So learning as I go. Next time definitely. I was so bummed!
