Well I had a chick hatch yesterday I been noticing some problems with it.

Problem 1 I noticed he has been breathing through it mouth like you would see if it was to hot but I hear "gurgling" like fluid sound's
He chirps fine i'm just a little concerned with how he is doing.

Problem 2 he is still unable to stay on his feet and will use his wings to move him self around and will sort of "hop" his hole body.

Mind you I had to help him a little from his shell as he was miss positioned but i let him push his own way fully out of the shell.
I did notice some blood on the inside of his shell "Not normal" the hatch took over 12h's to fully come free of the shell.

What can I do for the breathing problem as this is my first hatch.
Should I try something with his beek holes IE "Nose Holes"

Thanks for any and all help

Well, perhaps he's really weak. You could try just perking him up a bit with some Apple cider vinegar and electrolytes in the water.

I just tried some worm water with a Q-tip on his beak whipping around the breathing holes to see if they was clogged and it seamed to help a little.

I see his leg is bent. Once I had a chick like that, and I simply held him and bent it up and down the right way. Doing that a few times a day worked like magic.

Well today I am giving them some electrolytes and vitamins to see what happens.
I think the gray chick will not make it he will not eat or drink and just lay's on his belly and seems to sleep a lot I had to force him to take a drink of the water mix.
so I will have to see in the next few days if he will try to pull through I have my doubts tho as he is not even trying at this point.

Thanks for your support.
I will see in the next few days if he pull's through but with his issues with walking and not eating/drinking
I will have to put him down at the end of this week as I don't like to see them suffer any more than they need to.
