both I guess> I actually worked at the Durham Fair last year for my son's cooperative preschool and I used to help a friend when we were teen with her mothers show birds. I'd like to show the birds and learn more.

If you plan to show call the state vet(I can get you the number). They need to come out and vaccinate and test the birds before they can be shown, it's only $1 per bird. It takes about a week to get your results back. What types of birds are you planning on showing?

Henrietta--we are right on the fair grounds...so dont forget to park here!! dddCT, my daughter will be in the coop this year, we were doing Grace Lutheran but wanted to go more local. Were you happy there????

Oh, do you have a wiggler for your incubator?? What kind is it? If it is still air it needs to be a bit higher...you are welcome to use our wiggler for this hatch if you want to check your temps.

(PS a wiggler is a water wiggler-it mimics the conditions of the egg, give you the insed egg temp which chousl be 99.5--ambient temp is usually a bit different in a still air)

Can we park in your yard too? Last year it was so crammed with cars we had to carry the chickens crate for like a 1/2 mile
