New HE Maytag washer ???

I have a 2 year old front load HE waser and a few weeks back mine had a problem draining. Well I bought the extended warranty so you bet your butt I called the maytag man!! Turns out, there is a filter behind the front panel the guys at lowes hadn't told me about and wasn't mentioned ANYWHERE in the manual, that had caught one of my little ones socks. The extended warranty paid for the trip and now it will be cleaned out as needed. It also caught an ink pen and 26 cents

I love my HE washer too. It is important to clean it with bleach occasionally as noted on the panel. This summer I rinsed my cotton garden gloves in the sink in bleach water until the water ran clear, then tossed them in with my colored clothes. We noticed our clothes looking a little dingy. Evidently, the gloves were still dirty. Just something to keep in mind if you do wash really dirty clothes.

If you dont use he detergent it will also kill your o rings and your seals in your machine a word of advice is always keep the door open on a front load washing machine it will help your machine and also your clothes if you have any questions on the machines make sure you ask the guy at lowes he should know anything about them i know at our lowes we do. Dont forget free delivery on those things because they are heavy and they will haul away your old one you just have to tell them.
