banties are miniature chickens, they come in many different breeds. you dont have to worry about incubation unless you are hatching eggs, i believe you are thinking of a brooder. in a brooder, you need a heat lamp and ventilation. i used a old recycling bin, hung a heat lamp and as a lid i used netting. i dont think that bantams (banties) would be good meat birds as they are very small. i have a bantie hen who is about 1.1 lbs. also, i dont think meat birds would be a good idea for a first time chicken owner. but thats just me.
