How long, on average, does it take a hen to adjust to being moved from one home to another? This hen was said to be laying before I got her, but I've seen no eggs from her in the week I've had her.
She has, however, finally begun eating, drinking, & acting normal and not crouching prepared to FLEE at every second. I've even gotten her to eat bread from my fingers, which shows you how hungry she must have been, despite food in front of her 24/7.
