If anyone in CO wants some of the metal (had no clue what it was technically called) there is a ton of it at next to me at work. Most of it is 36x60 and strips that are probably 12x60. I've been trying to find a good use for it and it's such a waste to see it end up in the dumpster.

If you try to buy that stuff at a big box store (bad idea) it is incredibly expensive.
I have a place here called Shapiro steel and they sell remnants pretty cheap.
I've been using expanded metal on vents and some windows. A bear can't tear it up.
It does block a little ventilation but the openings have to be bigger but that's OK because it is so strong.

Another thing you can do is put screen on the openings as well and you've eliminated predators as well as flies and mosquitos.

With a 36 X 60 piece you could make a whole wall with it. Great for ventilation.
I'm sorry I'm not in CO for even one more reason now.
